The rules page is broken down into 3 sections:
Changes for the 2026 season.
Rules for league play.
Individual game rules.
SECTION 1: Changes for the 2026 season:
This season all points are due Tuesday September 1st, 2026.
Points will be paid out at the end of each quarter (Week 6, 12, 18 and 22), in the past all points were paid out at the end of the season. The only exception is Survival Island which will be paid as soon as the contest is over.
The total number of prizes will be 93 this season.
In the NFL, if a game(s) is canceled before Saturday at 5:00 pm we will delete the game(s) from our piksheet entry form and we will play on, minus that game(s). It will be the players responsibility not to include the canceled game(s) for weekly and/or season lock and upset picks or any side games. We will do as much as possible to let all players know of this situation. If the game(s) are canceled after Saturday at 5:00, the game(s) will remain on the piksheet, but the game or games will not count and all side game picks must be changed to another team before the Sunday HARD cut off time. If the game is canceled after the HARD cutoff time (1:00) the results of the game will result in a 0-0 tie.
During the regular season and the first 2 weeks of the playoffs, if a player picks all teams that are favorites, that player will have to pick an underdog team for the Weekly and Season Upset Contest.
Any player who does not submit picks for the week or submits their picks after the cutoff time, will receive 0 points for the week.
Cutoff times for the Thursday Night Football Game, Friday Night, Sunday morning will be at game time.
We have increased the prize in the Perfekt Week from 3,250 point to 3,500 points. (250 points will be added each season, until we have a winner).
Survival Island, there is a separated fee and a separate piksheet for this game, $20 per entry and $50 for 3 entries (3 entry maximum per player). This season the maximum amount of the jackpot will be $5,000 to the winner. We have eliminated the Survival Island 2, Consolation Contest.
SECTION 2: General Rules & Administrative Policies:
All selections must be submitted using the Official PFLPro Piksheet.
Submission deadlines are as follows (all times Eastern Standard Time):
Thursday games: Pick sheet must be submitted no later than 8:15 PM (ET) on Thursday.
Sunday games (when no Thursday game applies): Piksheet must be submitted no later than 1:00 PM (ET) on Sunday.
No changes may be made after the applicable HARD cutoff time.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
If a player fails to submit a piksheet before the weekly HARD cutoff time:
The player will receive zero (0) points for that week.
No exceptions will be made.
Players may make unlimited changes to their piksheet prior to the official HARD cutoff time.
All changes must be made using the official piksheet.
The Smart Piksheet system will track and confirm selections.
Confirmed selections will be visibly marked within the system.
Only the final version submitted before the HARD deadline will be considered official.
Players may select all favorites or all underdogs for weekly picks.
However:
If a player selects all favorites, the Season/Weekly Upset selection must still be an underdog.
Failure to select a proper underdog for the Weekly Upset will result in an automatic loss for the Upset selection.
In any of the three Survivor contests, once the field is reduced to three (3) or fewer remaining players, a prize split may be requested.
A split must be unanimously agreed upon by all remaining players.
If one or more players disagree or fail to respond, the contest will continue as scheduled.
The three Survivor contests will begin as follows:
Survivor I: Week 1
Survivor II: Week 6
Survivor III: Week 11
Survivor II and Survivor III will begin as scheduled, even if a prior Survivor contest is still in progress.
Each Survivor contest operates independently.
During NFL bye weeks:
Over/Under selections may not be used for any side games, including but not limited to:
High 5
Margin of Victory (MOV)
Season or Weekly Locks
Season or Weekly Upsets
Thursday or Monday Night Football Contests
Over/Under selections may only be used where specifically designated.

(8) 4 QUARTERS CONTEST:
The
4 Quarters Contest divides the season into four (4) separate scoring
periods.
This contest runs for the entire
22-week season.
The four quarters are structured as follows:
Quarter 1: Weeks 1โ6
Quarter 2: Weeks 7โ12
Quarter 3: Weeks 13โ18
Quarter 4: Weeks 19โ22
Each quarter is scored independently.
Quarterly standings are based on each playerโs weekly contest scores during that specific quarter.
No additional selections or forms are required.
The league program will automatically track and calculate all quarterly scores.
At the conclusion of each quarter:
The player with the highest cumulative score for that quarter will be declared the Quarter Champion.
The second-highest score will be declared the Runner-Up.
1st Place: 250 points
2nd Place: 100 points
With four quarters total, there will be:
Four (4) Quarter Champions
Four (4) Runner-Ups
Eight (8) total prize winners
A player may win multiple quarters.
At the start of each new quarter:
All player scores for the previous quarter will reset to zero.
Each quarter operates as a standalone contest.
(3) Low Man Out Contest
The Low Man Out Contest runs for the entire 22-week season, concluding with the Super Bowl (Week 22).
Each week, players with the lowest weekly scores will be eliminated from the contest until only three (3) players remain for the Super Bowl.
Each week, the seven (7) players with the lowest weekly scores will be eliminated.
In the event of a tie affecting the final elimination position, the following tiebreakers will apply:
Total wins for the week
Monday Night Football tiebreaker score
If two or more players remain tied after both tiebreakers for the seventh (final) elimination spot, only six (6) players will be eliminated that week.
After Week 20, the field will be reduced to approximately 10โ13 players, depending on prior ties.
In Week 21, enough players (between 7โ10, or more if necessary due to prior tie adjustments) will be eliminated to reduce the field to three (3) remaining players.
After Week 21, only three players will remain.
All three remaining players will be guaranteed a prize.
Final Super Bowl week results will determine placement:
1st Place: 500 points
2nd Place: 250 points
3rd Place: 100 points
(1) Perfekt Week Jackpot:
The
Perfekt Week Jackpot is a regular season contest running from Week
1 through Week 18.
Playoff
weeks (Weeks 19โ22) are not included.
The jackpot for the current season is 3,500 points.
To win the Perfekt Week Jackpot, a player must correctly select every required pick for a single regular season week, including:
All 16 games against the point spread
One (1) Lock
One (1) Upset
A total of 18 correct picks are required for a perfect week.
All selections must be correct. One incorrect pick disqualifies the player for that week.
The contest continues each week until a player achieves a perfect week.
If more than one player achieves a perfect week during the season, the jackpot will be split equally among those players.
Once the jackpot is won, it will reset to 10 points and added each week-to-week and continue for the remainder of the season.
If no player achieves a perfect week during the regular season:
The jackpot will carry over to the following season.
The starting jackpot for next season will be 3,750 points.
(3) Survivor Contest:
All players are automatically entered into each Survivor Contest during the season.
There will be three (3) separate Survivor Contests, beginning in:
Week 1
Week 6
Week 11
Each Survivor Contest operates independently and awards 500 points to the winner(s).
Beginning in the designated start week, each player must select one team against the point spread that they believe will win that week.
If the selected team wins against the spread, the player advances to the following week.
If the selected team loses against the spread, the player is eliminated from that Survivor Contest.
Eliminated players must wait until the next scheduled Survivor Contest to participate again.
The contest continues week-to-week until only one player remains.
Picks are made against the point spread.
Players may select any team.
Unlike traditional survivor formats, teams may be selected more than once within the same contest.
The last remaining player will be declared the Sole Survivor and will receive 500 points.
If two or more players are eliminated in the same final week, and no players remain, the 500-point prize will be divided equally among those players.
In any of the three Survivor Contests, once the field has been reduced to three (3) or fewer remaining players, the remaining players may request to split the prize pool.
A split must be unanimously agreed upon by all remaining players.
If one or more players choose not to split, the contest will continue as normal.

The High 5 Weekly Challenge runs for the entire regular season (Weeks 1โ18).
Each week, every player must select exactly five (5) teams against the point spread on the official weekly piksheet.
Failure to submit five selections may result in a zero score for that week.

1 correct pick: 1 point
2 correct picks: 3 points
3 correct picks: 5 points
4 correct picks: 7 points

Points are not cumulative per win; rather, the weekly score corresponds to the total number of correct selections.
Example:
If
you correctly pick 4 of 5 games in a given week, you will receive 7
points for that
week.
A running total will be maintained throughout the regular season.
At the conclusion of Week 18, the players with the highest cumulative point totals will be awarded:
1st Place: 500 points
2nd Place: 250 points

This contest runs for the entire 22-week season, concluding with the Super Bowl (Week 22).
At the conclusion of the regular season:
The top 14 teams in the standings will qualify for the playoffs.
Seeding will be determined by total team wins:
The team with the most wins will be the #1 seed
The team with the second-most wins will be the #2 seed
Seeding will continue accordingly through #14
The top two (2) seeded teams will receive a first-round bye.
The playoff structure will follow the same format as the NFL playoff system.
Only the two teams that advance to the Super Bowl (Week 22) will receive points.
1st Place Team (Champion): 1,000 points
2nd Place Team (Runner-Up): 500 points
No points will be awarded to teams eliminated prior to the Super Bowl.
In the event of a tie in any playoff match-up:
The higher-seeded team will be awarded 0.5 points (home-field advantage) and will advance.
If two or more teams are tied in the standings at the conclusion of the regular season and the tie affects playoff qualification or seeding, the following tiebreakers will apply:
Season Total Wins
Weekly Points in Week 18
If still tied, Season Total Points in Week 17
If still tied, continue reviewing prior weeks (Week 16, Week 15, etc.) until the tie is broken
This contest officially concludes at the end of Week 22 (Super Bowl).
(3) Margin Of Victory: (referred as MOV) The Margin of Victory (MOV) Contest runs for the entire regular season (Weeks 1โ18).
Each week, every player must select one NFL team on the official weekly pick sheet.
The league program will track all previously selected teams.
Each team may be selected only once per season.
Duplicate team selections are strictly prohibited and will result in a penalty (see Penalties section below).
Because each team may only be used once, long-term strategy is required. Players must manage their selections carefully throughout the season.
This is the only PFL contest that does not use point spreads.
If your selected team wins, you will receive points equal to that teamโs margin of victory for that week.
Example:
If
you select Tampa Bay and they win by 10 points, you will receive 10
points
for that week.
If your selected team loses, points will be deducted equal to that teamโs margin of defeat.
Example:
If
your team loses by 7 points, 7
points will be subtracted
from your total score.
A running total will be maintained throughout the regular season.
The
maximum weekly deduction in this contest is โ20
points.
A
โ20 point penalty will apply in the following situations:
Your selected team loses by more than 20 points
You submit a duplicate team selection
You fail to submit a selection for that week
No weekly loss or penalty will exceed โ20 points.
At the conclusion of Week 18, the players with the highest cumulative MOV totals will be awarded:

This contest officially concludes at the end of Week 18. Points earned during playoff weeks will not apply toward this award.
(4) Super Bowl Squares: Super Bowl Squares Distribution & Scoring

First Quarter
The top 100 players in the standings at the designated cutoff point will each receive one square.
Second Quarter
Any player who did not receive a square in the First Quarter will be awarded one square first.
Any remaining squares will then be distributed beginning with the #1 ranked player, followed by #2, #3, and so on, until all squares are assigned.
Each player is guaranteed a minimum of two (2) squares for the contest.

Submit picks for every game in every week of the season
Remain active for the full 22-week season
If the player who finishes in last place fails to meet the full participation requirement (i.e., misses one or more picks at any point during the season), the prize will instead be awarded to the lowest-finishing player in the final standings who has successfully submitted every pick for the entire season.
The winner of this contest will receive one complimentary entry into next seasonโs football pool.

This contest runs for the entire regular season unless won earlier.
