TO PLAY IN THE PFLPRO:
Each Wednesday evening during the NFL season a new weekly piksheet is put up on our website.
We pick all 16 games each week during the regular season and all games during the playoffs including the Super Bowl. We have games that are played on Thursday, Sunday, Monday and some Saturdays games, reminders will be emailed out. All picks are done using a computer or smart phone. Once submitted, your picks are sent to the commissioner directly.
The deadline for picks each week is as follows: the Thursday game is due by 8:15 pm or (game time)., Sunday games are due by 1:00 pm ET. Sunday. Shortly after all the picks are due all the PFLPro players’ picks for that week will be posted on our website, just before the first game or games.
Stats will be updated after any Thursday, Sunday and Monday games. All stats, rankings and side games can be found on our website using the navigation on the top or left side.
To completely fill out the piksheet only takes a minute or two. We have players who will submit their picks within minutes of us posting the weekly piksheet and then there are players who will study all week long and get their picks in just before the deadline. Both systems have worked well and also have failed miserably, depending on who you ask.
The piksheet Entry Form is actually broken down into 2 sections, the weekly 16 games and the 4 side games. First the 16 weekly games, all 16 games must be played, all games are worth 1 Pts (Points) each (already defaulted to 1) the only other picks you need to complete this section is a lock and an upset picks, you mark this by using the Season/Weekly Lock and Upset Contest, the total number of Pts in this section should be 18 Pts. A lock pick can be a favorite or underdog, an upset pick can only be an underdog team.
Located just above the weekly games is the tie breaker and must be included to submit your piksheet, the tie breaker is only used for the Low Man Out side game. (tie breaker is the Monday Night Game)
Second, Season/Weekly Lock and Season/Weekly Upset picks, starting this season your picks will count towards the Season contest and the Weekly Contests. The Season Locks and Season Upsets run until week 20.
Thirdly, is the Survivor Contest, you pick 1 team each week, if that team covers you advance to the next week, if you lose you are out of the game. There are 3 Survivor Contests per season.
Fourthly, is Margin Of Victory Contest, this game is played the entire regular season, you pick 1 team each week and earn points by having the team you pick win, the more your team wins by, the more points you earn. Important to remember, you can only pick a team once in a season and this is the only side game that is not played against the spread, the piksheet will keep track of your picks.
Lastly, is the High 5 Contest, each week of the regular season you pick 5 games and earn points by winning games, winning all 5 games earn you 10 points for the week, winning 4 game 7 pts, 3 games 5 pts, 2 games 3 pts, 1 game 1 pt, 0 games 0 pts.
